Happy New Year to all Global FlyFisher newsletter subscribers with wishes for a great 2019!

If you are a regular on the site, you may have noticed that the publishing pace has increased a bit, and that new articles are appearing more frequently than it has been the case for a while.

While no new articles were published in October 2018, November and December last year brought 12 new entries, and during January you are going to see a few more. New videos appear at a rate of about 1-2 a day, so there's always the videos.
Some are already in the pipeline: one about Danish Jan Grunwald's Morrum Fly and one about converting classic Danish sea trout and salmon flies to intruders. I am also working on an article about bead chains and their use, and have been messing with an article on tool holders for a long time, which may eventually find its final form and get published.

I have many more ideas and articles also come in from outside contributors at a decent pace. If you have an idea for something you want to see published on the Global FlyFisher, let me know. If you won't or can't write it yourself, someone else might.

Long story short

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
See more details about what you can do to help in this blog post.

The Global FlyFisher was updated to a new publishing system early March 2025, and there may still be a few glitches while the last bits get fixed. If you meet anything that doesn't work, please let me know.
