Just to correct you article on Squizzers. They are made in the USA, used in the medical/dental consumer trade, alike. they are guaranteed for life against rust, corrosion, breakage and rivet loosening. Additionally, they are bend resistant, if they drop they "spring" nature of the instrument would absorb the impact and the tips would not bend. They are not as fragile as you indicate.
