A few materials, a flyhook and you have a simple catchy nymph that can be varied in colors and sizes to imitate most versions of the mayfly nymphs. Nymphs account for by far the largest part of the trout's food and this simple nymph should therefore not be missing from the fly boxes when hunting the rivers, streams or lakes for trout or graylings. In this video we have had a visit from the skilled Dutch fly tyer Jan De Haas who demonstrates the tying of this super all-round nymph.
